About the role

Role overview

Join the ContentAPI Team as a Backend Engineer. You will build and operate the high-performance content delivery backbone that connects the CMS to client applications.

Key missions

Build and extend APIs that provide structured content to web and mobile clients
Work on data pipelines that process content events in real time
Collaborate with your team to design solutions for unclear/ill-defined problems
Improve system reliability and performance
Contribute to internal developer tooling

Requirements

Familiarity with at least one of:
- GraphQL
- Event-driven architectures
- Stream/batch processing
Write clean, testable code with meaningful test coverage
Strong fundamentals in:
- API design
- Data modeling
- Relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
3–5 years of backend engineering experience in Go (or Rust)
Curiosity about how systems work under the hood and continuous improvement mindset
Ability to take a problem from ambiguity to a working solution with light guidance

Nice-to-haves

Exposure to code generation, schema-driven development, or AST tooling
Familiarity with AWS and containerized deployments
Experience with observability: tracing, structured logging, and metrics
