About the role

Role: Backend Developer

You’ll build and maintain the core automation engine for AI agents that apply to jobs and power job-market data and product features.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain AI agent automation that applies to jobs on platforms such as LinkedIn, Greenhouse, Workday, and others
Develop self-improving parsers and scrapers to collect and structure job market data at scale
Design APIs and async workflows connecting AI agents, databases, and client-facing systems
Improve reliability, observability, and performance across a growing microservices architecture
Work with LLM APIs to build and refine AI-powered features across the platform

Requirements

4+ years of backend development experience
Strong in Python, including async frameworks, clean architecture, and testable code
Understanding of web internals at the protocol level: HTTP, APIs, browser behavior, and rate limiting
Solid database fundamentals across SQL and NoSQL
Experience with or strong curiosity about AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Codex)

Nice to Have

Selenium / Playwright / browser automation
Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, or OpenAI Agent SDK
Experience with Docker, cloud deployments, and distributed systems
