About the role

Role: Backend Developer

Join DataAnnotation to help build and improve cutting-edge AI systems through programming and code evaluation tasks. The role is part of a large, distributed coding community and offers flexibility in both schedule and project selection.

Responsibilities

Design and solve diverse coding problems used to train AI systems (with an emphasis on Android development)
Write clear, high-quality code snippets and detailed explanations
Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity
Provide feedback that directly informs improvements to the next generation of AI models

Requirements

Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
Excellent writing and grammar skills
Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress)
Prior experience as a Software Developer/Coder/Software Engineer/Programmer is preferred

Preferred Skills

Kotlin experience
Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift

Compensation & Work Model

Fully remote with flexible schedule
Work is paid hourly, starting at $50–$100+/hr (higher-paying projects available with strong performance)
Payments via PayPal
