About the role

Role Overview

Backend Developer contributing to AI development through programming and evaluation tasks. Work is performed on a flexible, remote basis using DataAnnotation’s platform and paid hourly assignments.

Responsibilities

Design and solve diverse coding problems used to train AI systems, with an emphasis on Android development
Write clear, high-quality code snippets and detailed explanations
Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity
Provide feedback that helps shape future AI model training

Requirements

Fluency in English (native or bilingual level)
Strong writing and grammar skills
Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Kotlin
Experience as a Software Developer/Coder/Software Engineer/Programmer
Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift

Work Model & Logistics

Fully remote within eligible countries
Flexible schedule: choose projects and when you work
Paid hourly (up to $60 USD/hour), with potential for higher-paying projects based on performance
