About the role
Role: Backend Developer
Join DataAnnotation’s coding team to help advance AI development by designing, solving, and evaluating programming tasks that are used to train AI systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and solve diverse coding problems used to train AI systems, with an emphasis on Android development
- Write clear, high-quality code snippets and detailed explanations
- Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity
- Provide feedback that directly improves the next generation of AI models
Requirements
- Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
- Excellent writing and grammar skills
- Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress)
- Preferred: previous experience as a Software Developer/Coder/Software Engineer/Programmer
Nice-to-haves
- Preferred experience in Kotlin
- Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift
Pay, schedule, and logistics
- Fully remote with a flexible schedule (choose projects and when you work)
- Hourly pay up to $60 USD/hour, with potential for higher-paying projects based on performance
- Work is made available after a short paid assessment (used as an interview)
- Payments via PayPal
