Role Overview

Senior Backend Software Engineer (Remote — U.S.)

You’ll build and scale backend and AI-powered services for enterprise applications, including high-throughput APIs and production LLM/RAG pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale high-throughput APIs for enterprise applications.
• Develop asynchronous processing pipelines for large-scale data workloads.
• Build and enhance backend services supporting analytics, monitoring, compliance, and governance.
• Design and implement production-grade AI pipelines using LLMs, vector databases, and RAG.
• Create data models and retrieval systems to support intelligent, agent-driven workflows.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Help shape the architecture of next-generation AI-powered products and services.

Requirements

• Experience building scalable, high-volume APIs and backend platforms.
• Strong background in asynchronous/distributed systems.
• Expertise in API design and integrations, including AI/agent-based frameworks.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying production LLM and RAG solutions.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with vector databases at scale.
• Strong Python development experience.
• Deep experience deploying and operating applications in AWS.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in data privacy, cybersecurity, compliance, governance, or related domains.
• Background in real-time data streaming and high-throughput processing.
• Experience with AI frameworks: LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex.
• Exposure to Go development.
