About the role
Role Overview
Back-End Developer at Sessions (remote-first, with occasional travel to London). You’ll develop and maintain server-side logic, databases, and integrations powering web applications—primarily for the Sessions Serve product.
Key Missions / Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic and APIs for Sessions Serve and other products.
- Build efficient, scalable, and secure backend systems that meet performance and reliability requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to define project requirements and timelines.
- Troubleshoot and debug backend code, identify root causes, and implement fixes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and backend best practices.
Profile / Requirements
- Work with the senior engineering team and existing full stack/systems engineers.
- Own backend development and maintenance across server-side logic, databases, and integrations.
Location / Work Pattern
- Full remote with travel to London one Wednesday per month.
