About the role
Role overview
You will help build the backend and AI infrastructure systems that power RAD Security’s AI-native security platform. The work spans large-scale security event processing, AI-driven investigation, autonomous agent security workflows, and cloud/Kubernetes services—while staying highly hands-on with production reliability.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable backend systems using Go and Python
- Build APIs, event pipelines, and distributed services for processing large volumes of security telemetry
- Develop infrastructure and orchestration systems for AI-driven security workflows and autonomous agents
- Build and improve AI engineering systems, including:
- LLM orchestration
- prompt pipelines
- agent frameworks
- security-focused AI automation
- Operate and improve Kubernetes-based infrastructure across cloud and enterprise environments
- Support enterprise and air-gapped deployments using Terraform, Helm, and infrastructure-as-code workflows
- Work directly with customers to troubleshoot deployments and improve reliability
- Collaborate with product, detection engineering, AI engineering, and frontend teams
- Improve observability, resiliency, and operational performance
- Help shape architectural decisions as the company scales
Requirements
- Strong backend engineering experience with Go, Python, or similar languages
- Experience building distributed systems and async/event-driven processing pipelines
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience operating and debugging production environments
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and infrastructure as code tooling
- Strong AI engineering and coding skills, including experience with LLMs and AI agents (or orchestration/applied AI systems)
- Comfort in a fast-moving environment with high ownership
- Clear communication with engineers, customers, and leadership
- Strong troubleshooting instincts and willingness to respond to production issues
Nice to have
- Experience with security telemetry, detections, runtime events, SIEM data, or cloud security systems
