Back End Developer - Python & Go | $80/hr Remote

Role Overview

Hourly Python + Go Backend Developer (contract), remote. You’ll build and optimize scalable backend solutions and help migrate/rewrite systems between Python and Go.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable backend solutions using Python and Go
• Lead codebase migrations and rewrites between Python and Go environments
• Collaborate with AI researchers and engineers to improve training infrastructure
• Apply best practices across software development, testing, and automation
• Contribute to system architecture and cross-language integration strategies
• Participate in code reviews and mentor team members on best practices
• Communicate technical updates and document processes clearly

Requirements

• Strong experience with Python and Go
• Experience with codebase migrations and system integrations
• Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Experience integrating systems across multiple technology stacks
• Strong problem-solving and technical decision-making

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience supporting or integrating with AI training infrastructure (implied)
