About the role

Back End Developer (LotusLynx)

Design, develop, and maintain back-end services and APIs that power the platform’s capabilities—working closely with frontend and hardware teams.

What you’ll do

Build back-end services and APIs using TypeScript and Node.js
Develop scalable, cloud-native serverless services in AWS (e.g., Lambda, S3, MongoDB, etc.)
Implement secure, efficient middleware to support audio and network devices
Create and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints
Optimize for performance, maintainability, and scalability
Research and integrate modern technologies/frameworks into existing workflows
Participate in code reviews, testing, and Agile ceremonies

What we’re looking for

BS in Computer Science/Engineering (or related)
5+ years professional software development experience
Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript (backend-focused)
Proficiency with Node.js and REST API design
AWS experience, including Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and API Gateway
Strong understanding of reactive programming and TypeScript type systems (e.g., generics, narrowing, guards)
Ability to work across the TCP/IP stack and in a platform-agnostic way (Windows/Linux/macOS)
Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, and secure development best practices
Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally and independently in a fast-paced Agile environment

Nice to have

GraphQL experience
Familiarity with Angular (v13+) for broader full-stack context
