About the role

Back End Developer (LotusLynx)

Design, develop, and maintain back-end services and APIs that power the platform’s capabilities—working closely with frontend and hardware teams.

What you’ll do

  • Build back-end services and APIs using TypeScript and Node.js
  • Develop scalable, cloud-native serverless services in AWS (e.g., Lambda, S3, MongoDB, etc.)
  • Implement secure, efficient middleware to support audio and network devices
  • Create and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints
  • Optimize for performance, maintainability, and scalability
  • Research and integrate modern technologies/frameworks into existing workflows
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and Agile ceremonies

What we’re looking for

  • BS in Computer Science/Engineering (or related)
  • 5+ years professional software development experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript (backend-focused)
  • Proficiency with Node.js and REST API design
  • AWS experience, including Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and API Gateway
  • Strong understanding of reactive programming and TypeScript type systems (e.g., generics, narrowing, guards)
  • Ability to work across the TCP/IP stack and in a platform-agnostic way (Windows/Linux/macOS)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, and secure development best practices
  • Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally and independently in a fast-paced Agile environment

Nice to have

  • GraphQL experience
  • Familiarity with Angular (v13+) for broader full-stack context
