About the role

Role Overview

You will join DataAnnotation as a Back End Developer (Remote) to help train and evaluate AI chatbots/models. Your work will focus on solving coding challenges and assessing the quality of AI-generated outputs to improve model performance.

Responsibilities

Create AI chatbot coding challenges and evaluate the resulting outputs
Assess AI model outputs for correctness and performance
Debug and solve coding problems to improve model quality
Explain how your solutions solve the given problems

Requirements

Proficient in Python and/or JavaScript
Experience solving coding problems using a programming language (e.g., LeetCode/HackerRank-style)
Ability to communicate and justify why your solution works
Fluent English (native or bilingual)
Detail-oriented approach
Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and debugging workflows
Bachelor’s degree preferred (current/in-progress/completed)

Contract & Work Setup

Remote position (full-time or part-time)
Choose which projects you want to work on and work your own schedule
Paid hourly up to $60 USD/hour, with bonuses for high-quality/high-volume work
Payment via PayPal; applicants must be in the United States
