About the role

Role Overview

Join DataAnnotation as a Back End Developer supporting the training and evaluation of AI chatbots/models. You’ll solve coding problems, review AI outputs, and help improve the quality of each model.

Responsibilities

Create or provide coding challenges for AI chatbots and evaluate their outputs
Assess correctness and performance of AI-generated responses
Use debugging and problem-solving skills to improve model output quality

Requirements

Proficiency in at least one programming language, especially Python and/or JavaScript
Experience solving coding problems (e.g., LeetCode, HackerRank) and being able to explain how solutions work
Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
Detail-oriented approach
Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and debugging workflows

Nice to Have

A Bachelor’s degree (current/in progress/completed) in a relevant field (preferred but not required)

Contract & Work Details

Independent contract position
Remote (full-time or part-time)
Choose which projects you want to work on and work on your own schedule
Payment via hourly rate up to $60 USD/hour, with bonuses for high-quality/high-volume work
