About the role
Role Overview
Join DataAnnotation as a Back End Developer to help train and improve AI chatbots. You’ll evaluate chatbot outputs, assess model logic and performance, and solve coding challenges that support higher-quality AI model behavior.
Responsibilities
- Create and/or administer coding challenges for AI chatbots
- Evaluate outputs for correctness and performance
- Identify issues in AI model logic and debug/solve problems to improve quality
Requirements
- Proficient in Python and/or JavaScript
- Able to solve coding problems (e.g., LeetCode, HackerRank) and explain how your solution works
- Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
- Detail-oriented approach
- Experience with algorithms, data structures, and debugging workflows
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (in progress/completed is acceptable)
Work & Compensation
- Remote (independent contract)
- Full-time or part-time
- Choose projects you want to work on; work on your own schedule
- Paid hourly up to $60 USD/hour with bonuses for high-quality and high-volume work
- Payment via PayPal
