About the role

Role Overview

Cyclotron is hiring an Azure Engineer (FTE, mid to senior) for its Azure team. The role designs, implements, and manages Microsoft Azure cloud solutions for enterprise clients, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage Azure solutions across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS (VMs, App Services, Networking)
Deploy and configure enterprise services such as Azure Landing Zones, Azure Virtual Desktop, Defender for Cloud, and related platforms
Architect and deploy secure network solutions using VNETs, VPNs, and ExpressRoute
Implement and manage Azure storage (Blob, Queue, Table Storage)
Develop and deploy applications using Azure App Services and integrate with other Azure services
Use Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and automation
Build infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with ARM templates or Terraform
Apply security best practices using Azure Security Center and other tools
Implement and manage containerized applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Stay current with emerging Azure services and best practices

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
5+ years of hands-on experience across a broad range of Azure services
Relevant Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Developer Associate
Strong knowledge of Azure networking, security, storage, and application services
Experience with Azure DevOps and IaC
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice to Have / Additional Skills

Familiarity with AWS or Google Cloud
Experience with Azure pub/sub services and patterns
Azure governance and best practices knowledge
Experience with Azure Bicep for IaC
Knowledge of Azure Cosmos DB and other Azure databases
Proficiency with Azure Monitor and Application Insights
Experience implementing Azure Active Directory (B2C and B2B)
