Role Overview

Azure Data Engineer (Remote, United States) You will design, build, and maintain Azure-based data pipelines, storage solutions, and APIs/protocols to implement and improve the company’s data strategy.

Responsibilities

Data flow: Design, build, and maintain data pipelines, APIs, and protocols needed to support and improve the company’s strategy.
Data storage: Design and maintain best-in-class storage solutions for structured/unstructured and large/small data, including metadata, hierarchies, and ontologies.
Technology evolution: Stay current with trends in cloud data engineering and development.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience working with Azure.
Hands-on experience with:
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Storage (ADLS)
- Azure SQL
- Azure Databricks
- Azure API Management
Programming skills (preferably Python and JavaScript) and experience with data formats like JSON and XML.
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to collaborate with a high-performing team.
Openness, flexibility, and willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.
Ability to multi-task and operate in a complex organization with multiple stakeholders.

Nice to Have

Azure Data Engineer Associate certification (preferred).
