AWS Solutions Architect

Role Overview

ArcheSys Inc is seeking a motivated AWS Solutions Architect for a fully remote, full-time position. You will lead the conceptualization, design, and implementation of modern software development and cloud architectures that meet customer business requirements and support future growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Development: Create comprehensive AWS solution architectures aligned with business objectives; collaborate with project teams on tailored solutions.
• Cloud Infrastructure (hands-on): Assist with setup and ongoing maintenance of cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and deploy IaC using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams; facilitate workshops to gather requirements and feedback.
• Technology Evaluation & Integration: Assess existing systems, propose enhancements/integrations, and evaluate potential vendors/partners.
• Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Produce architectural diagrams and technical documentation; run training/workshops to support adoption.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure alignment with data privacy and security guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor solution performance, troubleshoot post-deployment issues, and optimize results.
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging technologies and promote best practices in architecture and design.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Preferred: Master’s degree and/or professional certifications in related areas.
• Cloud Certification: AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate) required.
