About the role
Role Overview
AWS Solution Architect with ~70% hands-on engineering and ~30% leadership. You will participate in architecture/design discussions, implement solutions, mentor the team, and help drive technical direction.
Responsibilities
- Participate in design and architectural discussions
- Build and code cloud-enabled solutions (hands-on)
- Lead/mentor team members (leadership component)
- Support development of microservices and RESTful API services
- Work with AWS services and CI/CD pipelines
Requirements (Must-Have)
- C# and .NET Core
- Strong understanding of design patterns
- Solid understanding of microservices (MSA) and microservice patterns
- Experience with RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit)
- Understanding of Entity Framework
- Cloud experience on AWS with clear cloud concepts (including serverless architecture)
- Experience with AWS services such as:
- AWS Lambda
- S3
- Route 53
- Elasticsearch
- API Gateway
- AWS CodePipeline and AWS CodeBuild
- DAX
- Terraform experience
- Understanding of CI/CD (specifically using AWS CodePipeline)
Nice-to-Haves
- Frontend basics: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Modern JS frameworks: React.js or Angular
- Containerization: Docker and Kubernetes (acceptable to train if missing)
- NoSQL concepts with examples such as MongoDB or DynamoDB
