AWS Cloud Architect (Remote-USA)

Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient AWS cloud solutions while driving infrastructure automation and modernization.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services.
• Design and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with AWS CDK and Terraform.
• Lead cloud migration, modernization, and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with DevOps, engineering, and security teams to enable seamless delivery.
• Establish and enforce cloud governance, compliance, and security best practices.
• Optimize cloud performance and costs through monitoring and automation.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering teams.
• Stay current on emerging AWS services and IaC tooling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years cloud architecture experience, including 4+ years focused on AWS.
• Strong hands-on AWS services experience: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudFront, IAM, VPC.
• Strong IaC experience with AWS CDK and Terraform.
• CI/CD pipeline design and automation framework proficiency.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (or equivalent).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Monitoring/logging familiarity (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK).
• Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
• Knowledge of AWS cost optimization strategies.
