About the role
Role Overview
Join MARGO as an AWS Architect / IT Security Architect. You will own the IT security architecture, ensuring it is designed, implemented, and kept up to date across multiple domains, including network security, cloud security, and application security.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain the IT security architecture and ensure it is properly implemented in real systems.
- Review risk analyses and findings, and act on them to improve security posture.
- Run proof of concepts (PoCs) for new security tools.
- Ensure legal and compliance requirements are met.
- Collaborate with group-level security teams and roll out new security processes/solutions aligned with the organization’s security strategy.
- Communicate complex security concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Ownership mindset for end-to-end security architecture.
- Strong communication skills for explaining security concepts across audiences.
- Ability to work hands-on across network, cloud, and application security.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with security tool evaluation (PoCs) and risk/compliance practices.
