Role Overview

Hands-on AWS Platform Technical Lead / Principal Engineer to own and build enterprise-scale AWS cloud platforms for CVS Health. This is not a solution-architecture or management-only role—you will actively build infrastructure, automate deployments, and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own and build enterprise AWS cloud platforms (platform engineering)
• Write code and automate cloud infrastructure and deployments
• Design and implement AWS platform patterns (landing zones, security, networking)
• Mentor and support other engineers
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application workloads

Required Skills

• 10+ years Cloud/Infrastructure Engineering
• 5+ years hands-on AWS Platform Engineering
• AWS Organizations, Control Tower, Landing Zones
• Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK
• Core AWS services: EKS, ECS, EC2, Lambda, VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53, IAM
• Security services: GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CodePipeline
• Python (required)

Preferred / Nice-to-Haves

• Go
• AWS Solutions Architect Professional
• AWS DevOps Engineer Professional
• Terraform certification
• FinOps, Healthcare, or Enterprise Cloud experience
