Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and continuously improve functional and automated testing strategies for enterprise applications
- Create detailed functional test scenarios, test cases, and test data aligned to system requirements
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks using Selenium (including strategy definition and optimization)
- Run automated and manual tests, identify defects, and document results clearly
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and DevOps workflows to support continuous testing/delivery
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and federal stakeholders to clarify requirements and validate behavior
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide feedback to improve system quality
- Review and improve test plans, procedures, and automation approaches to increase efficiency and coverage
Requirements
- 10+ years in IT, with strong exposure to QA/testing functions
- 2+ years hands-on test automation experience using Selenium, including framework development/optimization
- Strong knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies
- Experience testing Java, .NET, web, SOA, and ETL-based applications
- Strong understanding of test planning, automation feasibility analysis, and SDLC models (Agile, Waterfall, Iterative)
- Proficiency in SQL and databases such as Oracle or MS Access
- Familiarity with Unix and Windows environments
- Ability to translate requirements and documentation into effective test strategies
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
