Role Overview

Automation QA Engineer (Remote)

You will join the QA team to build and maintain automated testing for web applications and APIs, while also performing manual testing when needed.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications
Perform API automation and validation testing
Execute manual testing as needed to ensure product quality
Identify, document, and track defects
Collaborate with development and product teams to support high-quality releases
Participate in test planning, test case development, and test execution

Required Skills & Experience

Strong automation testing experience with tools such as Selenium or Playwright
Hands-on experience with API automation testing
Solid understanding of manual testing methodologies
Experience with one or more programming languages:
- Python, Java, .NET (C#), TypeScript
Good understanding of software QA processes, tools, and best practices

Nice to Have

Experience working with distributed/remote teams
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Location / Working Hours

Remote, with working hours aligned to Eastern Time (ET)
