Role Overview

Work as a senior member of a Scrum team to execute the overall quality plan for a product. Build and operate the next-generation software test automation infrastructure within the Quality Assurance Infrastructure team to enable automated product validation and regression execution across product departments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Scrum Master, Product Owner, architects, business analysts, developers, and other team members to deliver Scrum QA responsibilities.
• Create comprehensive test automation scripts from business requirements and functional specifications.
• Execute manual and automated functional, integration, regression, and performance tests.
• Maintain and expand libraries of automated and manual test scripts.
• Interpret automation results, document defects in an issue tracking system, and proactively communicate issues.
• Contribute to QA methodology improvements; research and recommend new automation approaches (including AI).
• Follow testing schedules to support efficient product delivery.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives).
• Guide and mentor junior staff on creating automated test scripts.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of software testing experience in a process-driven technology environment.
• Strong programming experience with Java or C#, SQL, and shell scripting (e.g., PowerShell and Bash).
• Solid software testing foundation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to grasp complex issues quickly and deliver well-engineered, high-quality solutions.

Nice to Have

• Playwright experience for automation tests.
• Experience testing web, native/desktop apps, and APIs.
• Financial services industry experience preferred.
• MS degree strongly preferred.
