Automation & AI Specialist (m/w/d)

Role Overview

Automation & AI Specialist (m/w/d) at WorkflowX (full-time, remote possible). You will build and improve low-code automations and AI/voice agents that integrate CRM and external systems—turning ideas into working production workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and continuously improve n8n workflows
• Create automations between the company’s CRM platform and external applications
• Implement and enhance AI and voice agents
• Connect APIs, webhooks, and third-party systems
• Build CRM workflows and automated customer processes
• Handle data processing and synchronization across systems
• Integrate tools such as telephony, email, WhatsApp, calendars, forms, and more
• Develop small custom solutions in JavaScript/HTML/CSS when standard blocks aren’t enough
• Perform error analysis, testing, and optimization of existing automations
• Document key workflows and integrations
• Co-develop new automation and AI solutions (not just reproducing existing flows)

Requirements

• Technical mindset: understand processes, think logically, and solve problems independently
• Ability to learn quickly when encountering new technologies
• Structured work style with proper testing and handling of edge cases

Preferred / Experience with some of the following

• n8n (or similar: Make or comparable low-/no-code platforms)
• APIs, REST APIs, webhooks
• CRM systems and CRM automations
• JavaScript, HTML/CSS, JSON and data processing
• AI tools / LLMs
• AI/voice agents
• Telephony / VoIP integrations
• Platforms such as OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Twilio (or similar)

Notes

• Not every technology must be mastered—focus is on logic, data understanding, APIs, and automation.
• Experience in Make with limited n8n is acceptable.
• No degree required; candidates with self-taught automation/APIs/JavaScript/AI projects are welcome.
