About the role

Role: Associate UX Designer

Visana Health is looking for an early-career UX designer to shape the patient and provider experience across its digital products for women’s healthcare.

Responsibilities

UX design for web and mobile: Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows; translate user needs and product requirements into clear, intuitive interfaces.
Cross-functional collaboration: Work with product managers, engineers, and clinicians to understand goals and user needs; share design input during planning and development.
User research & testing: Participate in interviews, surveys, and usability testing; analyze feedback and behavioral data to find UX friction.
Design quality & consistency: Maintain consistency with design systems and accessibility guidelines; ensure experiences are understandable and accessible to diverse patient populations.
Continuous learning: Stay current on UX best practices and emerging design tools; explore AI-assisted tools that support prototyping and research workflows.

Requirements / Qualifications

Early in your UX career (ideal for someone growing their design skills).
Ability to design user flows, wireframes, and prototypes for web and mobile products.
Participation in research activities and iteration based on insights from patient/provider feedback.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools and platforms that improve prototyping and research synthesis.
Experience working with or maintaining design systems and accessibility standards.
