About the role
Role: Associate UX Designer
Visana Health is looking for an early-career UX designer to shape the patient and provider experience across its digital products for women’s healthcare.
Responsibilities
- UX design for web and mobile: Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows; translate user needs and product requirements into clear, intuitive interfaces.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work with product managers, engineers, and clinicians to understand goals and user needs; share design input during planning and development.
- User research & testing: Participate in interviews, surveys, and usability testing; analyze feedback and behavioral data to find UX friction.
- Design quality & consistency: Maintain consistency with design systems and accessibility guidelines; ensure experiences are understandable and accessible to diverse patient populations.
- Continuous learning: Stay current on UX best practices and emerging design tools; explore AI-assisted tools that support prototyping and research workflows.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Early in your UX career (ideal for someone growing their design skills).
- Ability to design user flows, wireframes, and prototypes for web and mobile products.
- Participation in research activities and iteration based on insights from patient/provider feedback.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools and platforms that improve prototyping and research synthesis.
- Experience working with or maintaining design systems and accessibility standards.
