Associate People Partner

Role Overview

Profound is hiring an Associate People Partner for its London office to provide broad-ranging HR support and help build the People function in the UK from the ground up.

The London team is primarily Go-to-Market (GTM), so the role has a strong commercial tilt: you’ll coach GTM (Sales and CS) managers, support a commission-eligible employee population, and help the revenue org scale—while also covering HR for all functions in the office.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for employees and managers on HR topics across the full employee lifecycle:
  • onboarding, policy interpretation, benefits, and performance management
• Support GTM managers and employees while remaining the HR resource for all teams in the London office
• Handle employee relations matters with judgment and discretion; escalate to senior People Partners when needed
• Coordinate core HR cycles for London, including:
  • performance reviews, compensation planning, and engagement surveys
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems; help build HR processes and documentation as the office grows
• Support hiring and onboarding logistics in partnership with Talent Acquisition
• Help ensure compliance with UK employment law and HR best practices (with senior People Partners and external counsel as needed)
• Coach managers on foundational people management skills, including guidance for commission plans and quota-carrying roles
• Partner with People Partners across the company (including GTM-focused partners in the US) to keep programs and practices consistent across regions
• Help build a strong, connected London office culture as the organization scales

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years of HR experience in a generalist capacity (ideally in a fast-paced/high-growth tech environment)
• Exposure to a Sales, Customer Success, or other GTM/commercial client group is a plus
• Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable being a first point of contact for all levels
• Excellent judgment and discretion for sensitive/confidential situations
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment

Nice-to-Haves

• HR experience specifically aligned to commercial/GTM structures (e.g., quota/commission contexts)
