Associate General Counsel (Revenue)

Role Overview

Associate General Counsel (Revenue) at Flock Safety (full remote). You will lead the revenue legal team, negotiate complex public-sector and commercial transactions, and optimize the company’s end-to-end commercial contracting framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the revenue legal team, providing guidance to transactional attorneys handling customer agreements.
• Serve as the primary legal escalation point for Sales, Finance, and Customer Success.
• Negotiate complex public-sector and commercial transactions.
• Partner with Legal Operations to design, update, and deploy:
  • contract templates
  • playbooks and negotiation guidance
  • self-service business resources
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Product, and Legal Operations to align legal strategy with business growth.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate clearly (written and verbal) and explain legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with business teams to structure deals, manage risk, and resolve contract questions under tight deadlines.
• Active license to practice law and good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Extensive experience leading, negotiating, and drafting complex technology and commercial contracts, including both public-sector and private customers.
• Proven track record managing, coaching, and developing a team of transactional attorneys.
