About the role

Role Overview

Associate Director, Creative (B2C) is a visual visionary and tactical leader responsible for the aesthetic direction of key accounts. You’ll ensure every touchpoint—from social content to integrated campaigns—is visually stunning and strategically sound, bridging the gap between “the big idea” and “beautiful execution.”

Responsibilities

  • Lead the visual evolution of brands across pitches and flagship projects, ensuring world-class standards in design, typography, and composition.
  • Mentor and guide junior-to-mid level designers, copywriters, and art directors with craft-based feedback to help them develop their own visual voices.
  • Partner with creative strategy and media to create performance-driven creative informed by both data and creative instincts.
  • Own the visual narrative across multi-channel campaigns (film, digital, social, and physical experiences).
  • Lead visual production from selecting photographers and directors to overseeing color grading, retouching, and motion design to match the original creative vision.
  • Act as visual authority in client meetings; present design systems and art direction with clear rationale.
  • Work with creative leadership to evolve design workflows, set quality standards, and identify new tools/AI-driven technologies to keep craft future-ready.
  • Foster an inclusive, design-forward culture focused on experimentation, shared learning, and visual excellence.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in art direction or design in a creative agency or high-growth brand environment (or related field).
  • Strong mastery of art direction, layout, typography, and integrated visual storytelling across platforms.
  • Deep understanding of performance creative best practices and paid social marketing platforms.
  • Experience leading small teams and/or overseeing freelancers and junior creatives.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Familiarity with Figma and motion design, plus emerging AI creative tools.
  • Ability to concept and craft compelling campaigns/copy within brand guidelines.
  • Proven ability to align visual decisions (e.g., color palette, casting) with client business goals and brand identity.
