Associate Cloud Architect

Role Overview

Associate Cloud Architect (Modern Workplace) in TrustedTech’s Professional Services team. You will design and implement Microsoft 365 cloud solutions for clients, supporting cloud migration, modernization, and ongoing operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior architects and professional services teams to assess client IT environments and recommend improvements for cloud migration, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Under guidance, design and implement migration plans transitioning workloads from on-premises to Microsoft cloud platforms.
• Focus on Microsoft 365 tenant modernization, Entra ID–based mailbox and identity migrations, and Modern Workplace networking/infrastructure.
• Assist with design and deployment of Microsoft cloud infrastructure, networking, and security solutions aligned with client needs and best practices.
• Support planning and deployment of scalable, highly available cloud services using Microsoft cloud technologies.
• Evaluate Microsoft 365 enterprise licensing and product options to support solution design and client recommendations.
• Work with cross-functional teams (developers, engineers, project managers) to align solutions to business objectives and timelines.
• Contribute to proactive monitoring, performance optimization, and issue resolution for secure and reliable operations.
• Stay current on emerging Microsoft cloud trends and share insights with the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience supporting Microsoft 365 cloud solutions, including Office 365, mailbox and identity migrations, Modern Workplace technologies, and networking/infrastructure.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 services: Entra ID, Exchange Online, Intune, and Microsoft Defender.
• Exposure to designing/deploying/supporting basic cloud infrastructure and networking (virtual networks, VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, etc.).
• Working knowledge of Modern Workplace and Microsoft cloud services (Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Teams, Defender, Entra ID, Exchange, Intune).
• Basic understanding of security, compliance, and data protection requirements.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and proactive issue resolution.
• Clear written and verbal communication with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Haves

• Microsoft certifications such as MS-900, AZ-900, or MS-102.
• Willingness to participate in additional technical activities (text cut off).
