Assistant Vice President of Product Marketing

Role overview

Join SentinelOne as Assistant Vice President of Product Marketing. This is a player-coach role where you will lead and develop Product Marketing Managers, own core product messaging and value propositions, and work closely with executive leadership to ensure alignment across go-to-market execution and the product roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Product Marketing Managers; ensure consistent quality, cadence, and coverage.
• Own and refine core product messaging: value propositions, differentiation, and platform-level positioning.
• Engage executives with Product, Sales, and Marketing leaders to maintain tight alignment between messaging and go-to-market execution.
• Set the strategic operating model for Core PMM and represent Core PMM in cross-functional planning.
• Own buyer-specific use cases and demo narratives that support demand generation and sales motions.

Requirements

• 12+ years in product marketing, including 3–5 years people leadership managing PMM managers and/or senior ICs.
• Experience managing a content pipeline feeding demand gen/campaigns, with understanding of funnel mechanics.
• Exceptional written communication, translating complex technical capabilities into messages tailored for reps, analysts, and CISOs.
• Deep fluency in the cybersecurity market and relevant platform categories; credibility with both practitioners and executives.
• Strong track record partnering with Product, Sales, and Marketing leadership to influence and align on joint outcomes.
• Executive presence; comfortable representing Product Marketing in leadership forums.
• Proven ability to own messaging at scale, from individual product narratives to unified platform positioning.
