Architectural Project Manager

Role overview

Remote Architectural Project Manager position with a nationwide commercial architectural firm. The role focuses on managing multiple concurrent projects from early verification through permitting and construction administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent architectural projects, ensuring deadlines and accuracy
• Produce and manage deliverables including:
  • Complete sets of CDs (construction documents)
  • Permitting packages
  • RFIs and punch lists
  • Site visits for upfront verification and post-construction compliance
• Coordinate and manage revisions for bid, permit, and client review
• Prepare and manage submittal packages to permitting agencies
• Manage outside project consultants (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing) and client vendors
• Support client billing and monitor project profitability
• Oversee daily activities for Project Associates and Interns
• Coordinate construction administration, client updates, and internal project team communication
• Conduct/attend site surveys and prepare survey reports
• Schedule staff needs and project deadlines
• Prepare/review response letters addressing comments from drawing review
• Attend municipal planning/zoning meetings and handle ADA-related/code analysis documentation
• Mentor and train project team members; solicit feedback and drive improvements

Requirements

• Professional experience in retail or restaurant projects
• Architecture degree
• Architectural licensure preferred
• Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD
• Basic rendering software experience
• Excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills

Compensation

• $75,000–$90,000 per year
