Architectural Project Associate

Role Overview

Architectural Project Associate for a commercial architecture firm. Position is remote and involves supporting project delivery from construction drawings through permitting and construction administration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and compile full sets of CDs and permitting documentation
• Handle RFIs, site visits for upfront verification and during construction
• Support punch-list activities and city meetings for permit-related requirements
• Coordinate and prepare construction drawings for bid, permit, and client review, including coordinating revisions
• Coordinate with outside consultants: civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and client vendors
• Conduct code and permitting research
• Attend site surveys and prepare survey drawings and reports
• Prepare responses to comments from outside drawing reviews
• Create design development presentation drawings

Requirements

• Professional commercial experience, specifically retail design
• Professional degree in Architecture
• Proficient in AutoCAD (with Revit as a plus)
• Basic experience with rendering software
• Strong oral and written communication and customer service skills
