Architectural Project Associate

Role Overview

Architectural Project Associate for a nationwide commercial architecture firm. The position is remote and supports end-to-end documentation and permitting activities for commercial (retail) design projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble complete sets of construction documents (CDs)
• Support permitting and city coordination for approval requirements
• Handle RFIs, construction-phase documentation, site visits, and punch lists
• Coordinate and prepare construction drawings for bid, permit, and client review
• Coordinate revisions and communicate with outside consultants and client vendors (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing)
• Conduct code and permitting research
• Attend site surveys and prepare survey drawings and reports
• Prepare responses to outside drawing review comments
• Create design development presentation drawings

Requirements

• Professional experience in commercial architecture, specifically retail design
• Professional degree in Architecture
• Proficient in AutoCAD (with Revit as a plus)
• Basic experience with rendering software
• Strong oral/written communication and customer service skills
