Architectural Project Associate

Role: Architectural Project Associate

Location: Remote (Seattle, WA listed)

Responsibilities

• Produce construction drawings for bid, permit, and client review, and coordinate revisions
• Assemble complete CD sets and support permitting processes
• Manage RFIs, coordinate site visits, and prepare upfront verification, during construction and punch-list deliverables
• Conduct code and permitting research
• Prepare survey drawings and reports from site surveys
• Coordinate with outside consultants and vendors (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing)
• Prepare design development presentation drawings and respond to review comments
• Communicate professionally with clients and support the Project Manager

Requirements

• Professional commercial experience, specifically retail design
• Professional degree in Architecture
• Proficient in AutoCAD (and Revit is a plus)
• Basic experience with rendering software
• Strong oral and written communication and customer service skills
• Ability to follow direction, stay organized, meet deadlines, and adhere to design standards

Nice to have

• Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary consultants
• Comfort adjusting to new situations and soliciting/acting on feedback

Compensation

• $55,000 – $65,000 per year
