Architectural Project Associate

Role Overview

Architectural Project Associate for a nationwide commercial architecture firm (REMOTE).

Responsibilities

• Produce complete sets of construction documents (CDs), including permitting deliverables
• Handle RFIs, site visits for upfront verification, during construction, and for punch-lists
• Coordinate and prepare construction drawings for bid, permit, and client review
• Coordinate revisions and collaborate with outside consultants and vendors (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing)
• Perform code and permitting research
• Attend site surveys and prepare survey drawings and reports
• Prepare responses to reviewer comments from outside drawing reviews
• Create design development presentation drawings
• Communicate professionally with clients and follow/design standards while supporting the Project Manager

Requirements

• Professional commercial experience, specifically with retail design
• Architecture degree
• Proficient in AutoCAD (with Revit experience preferred)
• Basic experience with rendering software
• Strong oral and written communication and customer service skills
