About the role

Role Overview

Architectural Project Associate for a nationwide commercial architecture firm. Location: Remote Compensation: $55,000–$65,000 per year

Responsibilities

Produce full sets of CDs and support permitting processes
Handle RFIs, site visits for upfront verification, during construction, and for punch-lists
Coordinate with the city regarding permit-related requirements
Assist the Project Manager with construction drawings for bid, permit, and client review
Coordinate and incorporate revisions
Coordinate with external project consultants and client vendors (e.g., civil/structural/mechanical/electrical/plumbing)
Perform code and permitting research
Attend site surveys and prepare survey drawings and reports
Prepare responses to review comments from outside drawing reviews
Create design development presentation drawings

Requirements

Professional commercial experience with retail design
Architecture degree
Proficiency in AutoCAD (with Revit as a plus)
Basic experience with rendering software
Strong oral and written communication and customer service skills
