Architectural Project Associate

Role Overview

Architectural Project Associate for a nationwide commercial architecture firm. The role is remote and will support project delivery across design, permitting, construction, and client review work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare full sets of construction documents (CDs)
• Support permitting activities and code/permitting research
• Manage project workflow deliverables such as:
  • RFIs
  • site visits for upfront verification and during construction
  • punch-lists
  • responses to review comments from outside drawing reviews
• Attend and coordinate with the city/municipal permit requirements
• Prepare survey drawings and reports following site surveys
• Assist with design development presentation drawings
• Coordinate and prepare construction drawings for bid, permit, and client review and coordinate revisions
• Coordinate with outside consultants (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing) and client vendors
• Assist the Project Manager and communicate professionally with clients and stakeholders

Requirements

• Professional experience in commercial architecture, especially retail design
• Professional degree in Architecture
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit is a plus)
• Basic experience with rendering software
• Strong oral and written communication and customer service skills
