Architectural Project Associate

Role Overview

Remote Commercial Architectural Project Associate for a nationwide commercial design firm. You’ll support the preparation of construction and permitting deliverables and help coordinate project documentation from design through construction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare full sets of construction drawings (CDs) for bid, permit, and client review
• Coordinate and manage revisions for construction drawings
• Assist with permitting workflows: RFIs, punch lists, and permit-related requirements
• Conduct code and permitting research and prepare required documentation
• Attend site visits/surveys and prepare survey drawings and reports
• Prepare responses to comments from outside drawing reviews
• Create design development presentation drawings and materials
• Coordinate with outside consultants and vendors (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and client vendors)
• Communicate professionally with clients and support the Project Manager

Requirements

• Professional commercial experience, specifically with retail design
• Architecture degree
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit is a plus)
• Basic experience with rendering software
• Strong oral and written communication and customer service skills
