Architectural Project Associate (Remote)

Join a nationwide commercial architectural firm as a Project Associate supporting retail-focused design and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Produce and compile full sets of construction documents (CDs)
• Assist with permitting processes
• Handle RFIs and coordinate information for upfront verification, during construction, and punch-list items
• Participate in site visits/surveys and help prepare survey drawings and reports
• Coordinate and prepare construction drawings for bid, permit, and client review, including managing revisions
• Coordinate with outside consultants and vendor partners (e.g., civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing)
• Conduct code and permitting research
• Prepare responses to comments from outside drawing reviews
• Create design development presentation drawings
• Communicate professionally with clients and support the Project Manager

Requirements

• Professional commercial experience, specifically retail design
• Architecture degree
• Proficient with AutoCAD (with Revit as a plus)
• Basic experience with rendering software
• Strong oral and written communication and customer service skills
