Architectural Project Associate

Role Overview

Architectural Project Associate for a nationwide commercial architecture firm (remote).

Responsibilities

• Produce complete sets of construction documents (CDs) including permitting support
• Assist with RFIs, punch-list items, and coordination throughout construction
• Conduct site surveys and prepare survey drawings/reports; perform upfront verification
• Coordinate with the city and handle permit-related requirements
• Coordinate and prepare construction drawings for bid, permit, and client review, including revisions
• Work with outside consultants and vendors (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing)
• Conduct code and permitting research and prepare responses to review comments
• Create design development presentation drawings

Requirements

• Professional commercial experience, specifically with retail design
• Professional degree in Architecture
• Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit is a plus
• Basic experience with rendering software
• Strong oral and written communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, deadline-oriented, accurate and complete work
• Ability to follow instructions, take direction, and maintain organized records
• Collaborative mindset and professional client communication

• Rendering software experience beyond basic familiarity
