Architectural Project Associate

Role Overview

Architectural Project Associate for a nationwide commercial architecture firm (remote). You’ll support project delivery across design development, permitting, and construction drawing packages, with a focus on retail design.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and compile full sets of CDs (construction documents) and related drawing packages
• Support permitting workflows, including RFIs and coordinating permit-related requirements with the city
• Attend site visits/surveys and prepare survey drawings and reports
• Assist with upfront verification, construction support, punch-lists, and responses to review comments
• Coordinate and prepare construction drawings for bid, permit, and client review, including managing revisions
• Coordinate with outside consultants and vendors across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes
• Create design development presentation drawings and support project meetings/presentations

Requirements

• Professional commercial experience, specifically with retail design
• Architecture degree (professional degree)
• Proficient in AutoCAD (with Revit as a plus)
• Basic experience with rendering software
• Strong oral and written communication and customer service skills

Salary

• $55,000 - $65,000 per year
