Architectural Project Associate

Role: Architectural Project Associate (Commercial Retail Architecture)

Remote position supporting a nationwide commercial architecture firm.

Responsibilities

• Produce full sets of CDs (construction documents) and support the permitting process
• Handle RFIs and participate in upfront verification, during-construction, and punch-list activities
• Coordinate with city officials for permit-related requirements
• Prepare construction drawings for bid, permit, and client review; coordinate and implement revisions
• Coordinate with outside consultants and client vendors (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing)
• Conduct code and permitting research
• Attend site surveys and prepare survey drawings/reports
• Prepare responses to comments from outside drawing reviews
• Create design development presentation drawings

Requirements

• Professional commercial experience, specifically with retail design
• Professional degree in Architecture
• Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit is a plus
• Basic experience with rendering software
• Strong oral/written communication and customer service skills

Salary

• $55,000 – $65,000 per year
