About the role

Role Overview

Remote opportunity for a Commercial Architectural Project Associate supporting retail design and project delivery for a nationwide commercial architecture firm.

Responsibilities

Prepare full sets of construction documents (CDs)
Support permitting processes and coordinate permit-related requirements
Handle RFIs, punch-lists, and construction-phase verification
Attend and support site visits and upfront verification
Coordinate and prepare construction drawings for:
- bid
- permit
- client review
Coordinate and manage revisions for drawing sets
Coordinate with outside consultants and vendor teams (civil, structural, MEP, plumbing, and client vendors)
Conduct code and permitting research
Attend site surveys and prepare survey drawings/reports
Prepare responses to comments from outside drawing reviews
Create design development presentation drawings
Communicate professionally with clients and support the Project Manager

Requirements

Professional commercial experience, specifically with retail design
Architecture degree
Proficient in AutoCAD (with Revit experience a plus)
Basic experience with rendering software
Strong oral and written communication and customer service skills
