Role Overview

Architect (CAD & Construction Documentation)

• Type: Contractor
• Location: Remote (United States)
• Goal: Use architectural CAD and construction documentation expertise to create, review, and validate high-quality technical documentation that supports next-generation AI systems.
• AI experience: Not required—architecture and CAD/engineering documentation knowledge is what matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed architectural floor plans, elevations, and construction drawing sets based on specifications.
• Produce accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings for architectural and engineering use.
• Prepare Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) annotations for technical/manufacturing documentation.
• Produce, review, and annotate multi-sheet electrical schematics per industry standards.
• Design/evaluate/review PCB layouts (where applicable) with a focus on manufacturability and accuracy.
• Collaborate with project teams to clarify technical requirements and resolve documentation questions.
• Deliver complete, organized documentation packages aligned to milestones and quality expectations.
• Provide subject-matter expertise to improve AI training datasets via accurate documentation and structured feedback.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years recent professional experience in architectural CAD drafting and construction documentation.
• Strong proficiency with industry-standard 2D/3D CAD and architectural drafting tools.
• Experience with GD&T callouts, technical drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Hands-on experience with multi-sheet electrical schematics and PCB layout documentation (highly desirable).
• Strong understanding of construction documentation standards and architectural drawing conventions.
• Excellent attention to detail; ability to manage complex multi-deliverable documentation.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote collaborative environment and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience on multidisciplinary architectural and engineering projects.
• Familiarity with remote collaboration tools and distributed workflows.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or related field.
• Experience reviewing technical documentation for quality assurance and compliance.
