About the role
Role overview
Architect (AutoCAD) — AutoCAD Expert for an hourly remote contract (10–40 hours/week). You will create and optimize detailed AutoCAD drawings and ensure accurate, standards-compliant CAD deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Create, modify, and optimize detailed AutoCAD drawings across projects
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand requirements and produce precise documentation
- Interpret architectural and engineering inputs to generate accurate CAD outputs
- Maintain version control and ensure adherence to project standards and quality benchmarks
- Identify and resolve design conflicts or discrepancies
- Participate in project reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Document processes and communicate updates clearly to stakeholders
Requirements
- Strong experience with AutoCAD and complex drafting projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and focus on high-quality deliverables
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently
- Understanding of architectural and engineering terminology and standards
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Proactive problem-solving in technical environments
