Architect (AutoCAD) | Remote

Role overview

AutoCAD Architect (AutoCAD Expert) for hourly remote contract work with 10–40 hours/week. You’ll create and refine detailed CAD documentation and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver accurate drawings.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and optimize detailed AutoCAD drawings across multiple projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and produce precise documentation
• Interpret architectural and engineering inputs to generate accurate CAD outputs
• Maintain version control and ensure adherence to project standards and quality benchmarks
• Identify and resolve design conflicts or discrepancies
• Participate in project reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Document processes and communicate updates clearly to stakeholders

Requirements

• Strong experience with AutoCAD and complex drafting projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently
• Understanding of architectural and engineering terminology and standards
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Proactive problem-solving in technical environments

Compensation & schedule

• $30–$100/hour
