Role overview

AutoCAD Expert / Architect (Permanent) — Remote. Create, modify, and optimize detailed AutoCAD drawings and ensure they meet project standards through version control, review cycles, and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and optimize detailed AutoCAD drawings for a variety of projects
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand requirements and deliver accurate technical documentation
• Interpret architectural/engineering sketches, notes, and specifications to produce correct CAD outputs
• Maintain version control and ensure drawings adhere to project standards and quality benchmarks
• Identify and resolve potential design conflicts or discrepancies
• Participate in project reviews, providing constructive feedback
• Document processes and keep stakeholders updated via clear written and verbal communication

Requirements

• Expert-level AutoCAD proficiency with a portfolio showing complex drafting/design work
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for a remote environment
• High attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables
• Ability to independently manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Solid understanding of architectural and engineering terminology and standards
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally and adapting to changing project needs
• Proactive, solution-oriented approach to technical challenges
• Experience with related CAD software or 3D modeling tools (e.g., additional CAD/3D capabilities)
• Background in architectural, civil, or engineering disciplines
• Experience working in a fully remote, cross-functional environment
