AR & Collections Manager

Role Overview

Join AssetWatch as the AR & Collections Manager. You will own the end-to-end accounts receivable (AR) and collections function, build a high-performing collections team, and implement scalable, repeatable processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full AR lifecycle, from invoicing through cash collection
• Design, implement, and continuously improve a structured collections cadence, including automated dunning/recovery sequences
• Lead, develop, and performance-manage a collections team by setting and achieving collections goals
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success on collections and sensitive customer/payment issues

Requirements

• Strong communication and negotiation skills; comfortable engaging customers, Sales leadership, and senior executives on sensitive collections matters
• 7+ years of progressive AR/collections experience, including 3+ years managing an AR or collections team in a high-volume environment
• Experience leading or participating in check-to-ACH / electronic payments migration, including outreach and adoption tracking (strongly preferred)
• Proven, measurable track record improving DSO reduction and collection rates in a SaaS/subscription environment (be prepared to discuss metrics)
• Ability to design and implement collection goals, dunning strategies, and team performance frameworks
• Strong AR analytics capability: DSO, CEI, aging composition, bad debt reserve methodology, and payment trend analysis
• Deep hands-on experience across the AR lifecycle: collections, dispute resolution, cash application, unapplied payments resolution, credit management, and month-end close
• NetSuite AR module proficiency required; collections management software experience (e.g., YayPay, Kolleno, Tesorio) is a plus

Preferred / Nice-to-Haves

• Salesforce familiarity, especially in a Salesforce–NetSuite integrated environment
• Experience managing offshore/distributed or cross-timezone teams with quality oversight
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; CPA/CCP or advanced degree is a plus
