About the role

Role Overview

Applications Programmer – EDI/Oracle responsible for developing, deploying, maintaining, and customizing Oracle Applications and EDI integrations (including finance and supply chain modules). You will work with Business Analysts to translate business requirements into solutions, and support the business with technical development needs like reports and forms.

Responsibilities

Integrate Oracle E-Business Suite (12i) with EDI using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (SI B2b)
Support and maintain Oracle EBS production environment and EDI integrations
Analyze project requirements and determine the technical approach and required programming
Interface with Business Analysts to understand business requirements and develop solutions
Test, deploy, troubleshoot, refactor, and enhance code to meet evolving business needs
Create process flows and design specifications (functional and detailed technical)
Support system processing and availability, including participation in a 24/7 on-call program
Support day-to-day issues around integration touchpoints

Required Skills / Qualifications

Moderate to advanced PL/SQL proficiency
Proficient in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL for Oracle EBS development and support
Deep expertise in Sterling B2B Integrator Business Process Development (BPML)
Experience with Mapping (Map Editor) and Transformation Extender
Strong EDI concepts and delivery mechanisms such as AS2, VAN, SFTP, HTTPS
RICE components knowledge in EBS O2C and P2P cycles
Practical experience with Oracle EBS finance and supply chain modules (preferred)
Experience with Oracle Reports/Forms/Workflow Builder/Discoverer
Minimum 5 years experience in Oracle Reports, Forms, Workflow Builder, Discoverer, PL/SQL, Shell Scripts, XML Publisher
Minimum 5+ years Sterling B2B Integrator development and administration
2+ years experience with E-Commerce gateway / Oracle E-Business Suite (ERP)
Hands-on knowledge of ANSI X12, CSV, XML, EDIFACT standards related to 850/855/810/856
R12 experience required
Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS or related IT field; must be at least 18 years of age

Nice to Have

Prior experience with Oracle EBS GL/AP/AR/OM/INV/PO (called out in XML Publisher scope)
Additional strengths with Oracle integration/reporting and supply chain ERP modules
