Role overview
Early-career Application Developer role for small, collaborative project teams building and enhancing back-office internal business applications for a corporate customer. You’ll work closely with senior developers and project leads in an Agile environment and contribute to real production systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist with design, development, testing, and maintenance of internal business applications.
- Learn and contribute to existing codebases by delivering incremental features and improvements.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and team discussions.
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and help with bug fixes.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Follow SDLC practices and coding standards.
- Produce basic documentation, reports, and test results.
Requirements
- 0–3 years of software/application development experience.
- Foundational knowledge of one or more programming languages, such as JavaScript, Java, Python, or C#.
- Understanding of web technologies including HTML/CSS and basic scripting.
- Ability to work effectively in small teams and communicate clearly with technical peers.
- U.S. citizen and must reside in the Continental United States for remote work eligibility.
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum.
- Exposure to databases (SQL or NoSQL) and API-driven development.
- Interest in learning modern frameworks, cloud services, or automation tools.
